In a notable step into the realm of Artificial Intelligence, Havana Scientific and Technological Park Ecosystem and the University of Information Sciences (UCI) have joined the AI Alliance Network, CubaHeadlines reports, after Cuba in October became associated with the organization which is part of the BRICS group’s AI collaborations as a partner.
A collaboration of 13 countries and 15 organizations within the BRICS, the AI Alliance Network group, led by the Russian state bank Sberbank, is focused on advancing AI technologies, facilitating joint research and AI regulation among BRICS members,
Havana’s Scientific and Technological Park’s president Rafael Torralbas Ezpeleta attended the network’s inaugural event in Moscow last week, during which key aspects of AI development and proposed future collaborations in this groundbreaking technological field within BRICS member countries were discussed.
